The charisma of Subash Chandra Bose sparkled in the word 'Jai Hind,' which he used for the first time during the independence struggle. Jai Hind means wishing victory to India. Of course the rejuvenated spirit of nationalism then echoed all around the nation from east to west, and from the Himalayas to the south.

We selected the name Jai Hind, because of the influence of the non-violent freedom struggle led by Gandhi against the British, who first came to do spice business with India as 'East India Company' when the London streets were filled with rats and raccoons, and the air with nasty rotten meat. And later became the so called rulers, like a meager greedy customer became the Big Boss all on a sudden. Even their crown carries the most precious jewels of the Moguls including the Kohinoor, now worth more than US$ 2 Billion - two thousand million US dollars! Instead of paying money for the product, somehow becoming the owners of the land is what made sense to them! But couldn't withstand against the movement for long. Their 'divide & rule' strategy ended with 'divide & leave.' This division broke the heart of Gandhi and many millions. Hundreds of  thousands of innocent people perished in their own land, and it continues even today as a result of that division. Could the Indian soul ever stop haunting 'Oh, those British' for the horrible act of dividing the nation and its people? (May be yes, after the reunion to become a superpower; and as long as the MNC's continue make profit because of the base of their English language).
Amidst the nuclear threat, life goes on. Go 'Jai Hind' Go, we always hope for the best. Like the renaissance for the Italians, Jai Hind is for the people of Puthenthope. It completely changed every aspect of their life, and held the community together in love and peace.
